Floating Worlds

Magma currents inwardly circle, floating landforms through global transformation in deep time.

Tasmania’s Nth/West area & the Grand Canyon (USA) rifted apart 1.5 Billion Years ago, Floating Worlds is a visual narrative of their journey

DISSOLVE

DISSOLVE  is a parable about Climate Change.

The work fathoms the depths of the Styx River in Tasmania & asks us all to consider our role in preventing climate catastrophe.

DISSOLVE  focuses our attention on the arrogance & sense of invincibility that drives conservative political attitudes to Climate Change.

By examining the myth of Achilles in the context of the Tasmanian wilderness, the exhibition shines a light on subconscious influences that are at play in our western psyche.

Are we aware of the effects that our personal choices have on the carbon overload that is suffocating our planet?
